She was raised in Memphis, Tenn. and has lived in the Mid-South for most of her life with the exception of thirteen years spent in Virginia during her husband’s military career. She has been married to a Navy man, currently retired, for twenty-six years, and they have two adult children. They currently live in Tipton County, Tennessee.
She has been writing most of her life but didn’t publish until 2010 when her poem, My Darling Daughter, published in the Millington Star. She also spends quiet time painting, making cards, and quilling. When she’s not writing or crafting, she is the secretary for Malice in Memphis and the editor for Dead to Writes, a Malice in Memphis newsletter. She has also worked as staff for Mid-South Con, a sci-fi/ fantasy writer’s convention. Her first story, Mutiny on Mud Island is available in Bluff City Mysteries, A Dance with the Devil, is available in ghost stories.
